Drone photos for adjusting lighting at Kolding Stadium

In this case, we explore how we used drone photos to adjust the sports lighting at Kolding Stadium.

Key points from the case:

Dansk Sportsbelysning needed to get a quick overview of the light coverage of the pitch
Our drone with sharp night camera delivered images with different exposures
Dansk Sportsbelysning could now easily adjust the light based on where there was too much and too little lighting

About the case:

Dansk Sportsbelysning is a company that specializes in installing sports lighting at stadiums and sports facilities.

They had just installed four large lighting columns at Kolding Stadium and wanted to see how the lighting worked on the pitch at night.

Dansk Sportsbelysning contacted us at Drone Eksperten for help taking drone photos at night.

We drove out to Kolding Stadium to take several photos with different exposures so they could see how the light sources spread across the pitch.

We took both low exposure and high exposure photos so they could see the areas where the light was too dark or too bright.

By taking these images, Dansk Sportsbelysning was able to quickly and easily refine and optimize the light settings for the four lighting columns, so that the lighting was even and optimal on the entire pitch.

The result of this collaboration was more efficient and optimal lighting at Kolding Stadium. By having better lighting, athletes and spectators can experience a better and safer experience on the pitch. Dansk Sportsbelysning was very pleased with the results of our work.

Below you can see some of the different images with different exposure that we delivered to Dansk Sportsbelysning.
