Sewer inspection with drone
Increase safety and save time and money with a sewer inspection with drone. We inspect up to 1.200 meters of sewers with drones per day.

Secure remote inspection
We send drones into sewers, not people!
Faster and more economical
3D model for reference
We create a 3D point cloud with a LiDAR scanner on the drone.

TV inspection with drone
We provide TV inspection with standard-compliant drones that can be uploaded into utility systems. We provide TV inspection with standard-compliant drones that can be uploaded into utility systems.

Measuring the sewer
By combining LiDAR and coordinates, we can measure and georeference sewer lines, structures and basins into GIS systems.
Case Study: Frederiksberg Forsyning
At Frederiksberg Forsyning, we have inspected many kilometers of their large pipelines.
We have combined drones with AI image recognition and LiDAR 3D data to conduct condition assessments and contribute to investment plans.

Benefits of sewer inspection with drones
There are many advantages to using drones to inspect large sewer lines. The biggest advantage is that the drone can easily fly through sewers without the need to send people down. In addition, the drone can easily inspect breaks and seepages etc. without the need to flush the sewer beforehand.
Compared to a regular sewer TV, the drone can fly over water and past obstacles. The fact that the drone is flying and not driving makes it much easier and faster to inspect a section – and this outperforms the conventional method in large or more difficult pipes.
One of the great advantages of the drone is that it is equipped with a 3D LiDAR scanner that generates a point cloud as it flies. We can GEO-reference this point cloud and deliver it as a measurement to your GIS department, which will then get an insight into where the sewer line is located underground. This is a great advantage when it comes to renovation, excavation work or damage detection.

Modern TV inspection with drone
Can drones be used for TV inspection as we know it? Yes, they can. We have developed both AI and software to help us convert our flights based on current standards. In addition, we can also deliver our drone TV inspections in XML format for correct upload into your systems and map info.
We have several years of experience with reporting and we also work with TV inspection companies and consultancies that review the data we collect and verify that we have performed our sewer inspections correctly.
If you have any questions about how we perform TV inspection with drones, please feel free to contact us. We would love to help clarify your questions.

Frequently asked questions
What types of sewer systems can you inspect with drones?
We can inspect larger sewer pipes, structures, basins, pumping stations and more. The drone is diameter 480 and can fly above this.
How does a drone inspection work in tight sewer conditions?
We use drones that are specially designed to navigate in tight and dark spaces using LED lights, protective grids and precise sensors. In addition, our pilots are thoroughly trained and certified to do the job.
How quickly can we get results from a sewer inspection with a drone?
Depending on the scope of the job, we typically deliver data and the inspection report within 24-48 hours.
Are there restrictions on where a drone can fly in sewers?
The drone can navigate in most confined spaces, but very small or completely enclosed sections may require other solutions. Of course, our drones should be used where it makes sense. If regular TV inspection can do the job better than our drones, we would always recommend it.
How does drone inspection in sewers help save money?
By minimizing the need for manual inspection and quickly identifying problem areas, you avoid costly repairs and prolonged downtime. The drones can inspect far more than regular TV inspections per day. In addition, the inspections are also cheaper as there is no need for pre-flight flushing of the sewer lines.
Can you also provide a 3D model of the sewer system?
Yes, our drones generate a point cloud that we can turn into a 3D model for better visualization and documentation.
